Built by a team from Star Wars, Tesla, Nintendo, Eventbrite, Ethereum, and more, Sondr came to us at pre-seed with a clear product vision but no visual identity, no design system, and no prototype. We designed the entire foundation — brand, product, and pitch deck — in parallel, giving them everything they need to raise and launch. ## The challenge Sondr needed to look and feel fundamentally different from every social platform on the market, while earning instant credibility with investors and early adopters. The brand had to communicate warmth, intentionality, and earned belonging — not another tech startup chasing scale. And they needed it all under an extremely compressed timeline: brand identity, design system, product screens across six core flows, and a pitch deck — built simultaneously, from zero. ## The solution We built a complete design foundation engineered to work in a pitch deck today and a live product tomorrow. The visual identity pairs Ginka and Inter fonts with a vibrant four-family color system mapped to brand pillars — Belonging, Identity, Growth, Participation, Signal. Three photography directions give the brand emotional range while a curated system of 3D, illustration, and pattern references defines its dimensional layer. The logo refines the original eye mark for digital performance across every surface. On the product side, we designed and prototyped six key flows building the design system as components emerged from real screens. The component library and token structure were developed alongside the product, not as a separate phase, ensuring every piece of the system was born from real use cases rather than abstract specifications. For the pitch deck, we translated the full brand identity into a presentation format built to support the founding round — clear narrative structure, investor-ready layouts, and a fully editable template the team can own and evolve as the raise progresses.
